Mr. Kulbhushan Gupta, multi-dimensional, a trader par excellence, a jeweler, a social worker, a philanthropist, a municipal counselor and a father figure to many among the trader’s fraternity.
He started his struggles at his native place Farukh Nazar (Gurgaon) rechristened Gurugram. He lost his parents at the age of 8 years and was (he and his siblings) left to fend for himself. He and his four siblings were brought up by their grand-father.
After completing his matriculation from the village school in 1962, he left his home in search of a job and eke out a living. The first phase of his struggles landed him at a kin’s grocery shop at Solan.
